I have a PC with two SATA HDDs and an AMD 64bit CPU.
The Ubuntu 8.04 performs the first two functions correctly ( Two re-boots ), then fails on the final setup function ( Second boot screen during install ).
The grub screen tells me that it cannot find a file and if an attempt is made to start windows xp from the same screen, it cannot find it's boot loader ( NTDLS) and I have to re-boot and start windows in the normal way, with no access to Ubuntu. in other words guys and girls, on this machine, the install from within windows XP, does not work.
