The browser needs to keep up-to-date, Flash and SIlverlight are both proprietary, which doesn't seem a good thing for the future of the web. It means less innovation and higher prices and hence a barrier to entry. The browser needs video support, a free open format like png for video. A decent upload feature would be nice to.
