It's dubious Google will help anything not giving more access to private data, for their data mining, which creates ad revenue. Google is not a charity and not a non-profit. It cooperates with evil regimes worldwide, a bad sign by itself.

As far as Flash goes, too many web sites are using it for too much stuff. It's really just a pain in the arse. I keep it turned off.
