I agree. There is another advantage to sauerbraten that you won't find in any other game. Not only can there be lots of great match play but since it has the ability to cooperatively edit and create new maps in real time that could be utilized as another portion of the tournament. Graphics are also well done, there is a good variety of weapons and it handles lag very well and scales to a variety of computer hardware. In addition it is also fully open source which really fits the spirit of such a tournament.
