New media center OS is pleasing to the eye and ear

eAR OS version 1.10 has a wizard-places.sh utility. This script let you specify the path to music, videos and photos.

If you have a ton of media files you can create symlinks and the media files will be shown inside the media center. Here is an example:

Open up a terminal and write

cd ~/Desktop
ln -s /usr/share/backgrounds background

Now you can see the pictures stored in the folder: /usr/share/backgrounds
inside the media center.

You can add symlinks to music and videos too.
