the issue is over patents Einstein !, "free" (free of charge) or not, its NOT "open source" as FOSS community software !.
The GPL license ONLY means the GPL terms, you change it ?, you give it up !. Can't see how "free" (freedom) it is when this whole matter is over patent(s).
ClamAV btw, is not the only product Barracuda makes in software, and that was the software I was talking about Jeremy but, ClamAV is not off the list because GPL + patents means big "?".
