Of course MS is happy with this arrangement - you have to buy a Vista license (one of the pricey ones, no less).
Dell - you have the clout to force Microsoft to cave to consumer demands. All you have to do is use it. Vista is a turd. It's slow, bloated, riddled with DRM crap, insecure, and just irritating.
