Why do you have a problem with them discussing the meaning of the holiday? It is a US-based site, and the announcement was framed in a clearly US-centric way instead of seeming to assume that the whole world is just like us. I'm starting to believe that all of the pointlessly grumpy, impossible-to-please people who infest the linux.com comments are part of some kind of organized campaign. Not sure what the point of it is- to make linux.com look bad, to make Linux look bad, who knows. Bitch bitch bitch, complain complain complain... no wonder you have no friends.
