1) Then why did you call the very first comment stupid.
2) If we can't afford wait for shipment anyway then I see no reason to discuss what might happen in 8-9 years.

a) Your business might not afford to rollback to the backup. Doesn't matter how often you do the backup.
b) In case if backup is acceptable. How often you can do a backup ? I guess it's 1-2 times a day at most. So you can loose what was done for a day or so. RAID allows you to minimize downtime anyway.
