A couple of months ago news surfaced that Microsoft was trying to woo the Blender developers to give preference to Microsoft platforms.
Just wondering whether or not the Blender developers have accepted or rejected Microsoft's embrace, extend, extinguish offers? ... yes, a beautiful strategy .... begin de-emphasising Blender support on non-Windows platforms until the other platforms become the poor cousins ... then, lo and behold, one day, Microsoft releases its own 3D software suite. Oh Blender ... sorry guys, we're on to bigger and better things, you guys just don't understand the consumer market.
So I hope that the Blender guys realize that the leopard hasn't changed its spots ... it just tries harder to hide them.
