Back during the 'Beanie Baby' craze, my mom bought a rare version of a particular Beanie. It was shipped from the UK. She never received it. We believe it was mistakenly identified as a counterfeit and destroyed, as we discovered was being done with Beanies at the time. The laws generated from a treaty like this would make such occurrences commonplace. As the article points out, agents that are not properly trained can cause some real damage.
