Considering the multitude of websites that require registration for access it is f***ing onerous to remember passwords and unique ids. I have begun to use openid for sites I visit rarely. I continue to use unique ids and passwords for any sites that involve financial transactions or sensitive information. But if I just want to read a tuturial at IBM's website or something it would be nice just to type in a familar password from a blog or something. I view it as a convenience rather than a security measure.
