This reads more like a press release- what license is Ripcode released under? I searched their website and found no license information, nor source code, which presumably should be present for a Linux derivative. Are they releasing their kernel bugfixes back upstream? Since Linux saved them millions of dollars and got them venture funding, license compliance and being good FOSS citizens shouldn't cause them too much grief.
Come on Linux.com, please hold your authors to a higher standard. Overall the quality on this site is very high, but it seems an increasing number of commercial puff-pieces are being published. Please do some real reporting, don't just be stenographers for PR people. This is Linux.com, not LinuxRipoff.com.
