Because it's pretty good. Slax is pretty good too but I find to find NimbleX better because it pays more attention to details. I'm pretty sure that Slax is more popular. I used NimbleX for a while because it has a lot more stuff than Slax has so it's has more functionalities. In my opinion, NimbleX gets way to little attention!
