Are the CTOs and managers you know functionally illiterate? I am surprised, and a little disturbed, to hear that people in such positions would be averse to reading a 15 page, not especially dense, plain language guide to important legal implications of licences they deal with. I'd say that the Practical Guide is at maybe the 8th grade level, surely educated businesspeople can handle it?
