Enterprise?

People use the word "enterprise" a bit too easily I think.

I reckon if you asked a big IT shop what makes an enterprise storage system, things like synchronous and asynchronous remote replication come up, full clones and space saving snapshots of data would probably be required. Some sort of intelligent caching that is also safe in a power outage would be another thing. Multipathing for block level access and etherchannel or LACP for SMB/NFS access.

These are just a couple of items I can think of at the moment, the list would be much longer.

I personally think Openfiler is a great product, but I don't think anyone should be using the word "enterprise" to describe it.
