The problem is that Microsoft's development tools spoil software developers so they don't have to do a lot of coding.So when they spend all their time in college making a .NET application. They get backed up in the real world when they have to think back to that one-semester of unix training they were required to take. I imagine Google has to do some training when they induct new developers.
