An additional remark from the guy in front of the camera, who was not aware that an interview given during the break of a small scale open source seminar on the remote Caribbean island of Curacao would be viewed by quite a few people back home:
It is neither my personal goal nor policy of the city of Amsterdam to get rid of Microsoft as such. It is however our objective to get rid of Microsoft as a monopolist for office automation.
My presentation given during the seminar: http://www.ictopcuracao.com/index.php?topic=manouchen
bears witness to the fact that I do not support Mircosoft-bashing, unless provoked.
Considering my lack of camera experience (stop blinking already!) and the fact that it was 34 degrees Celsius (there had been an power-outage so the air-conditioners weren’t fully operational yet)having to make only this one rectification is not so bad.
Getting rid of Microsoft?
