I use TinyMe on an ancient PII 333mhz box I use as a little file server. It really does work amazingly great on old hardware. Although one draw back is that it's repos seem to always be in flux, and updates often break things.For example, doing a "mark all upgrades" in synaptic ended up breaking the PC Linux control center. I also had the problem of it wanting to remove critical base packages when trying to install MySQL. If it were not for these problems, it'd a very good distro.
