So, what's exactly is special about TinyMe? Is it just supposed to be more lightweight because it runs an old kernel (legacy 2.6.24.4)?
I'm running a minimalistic install of Debian with Fluxbox and gdm on an old 400 Mhz laptop with 128 MB of RAM, and I use it all the time at school. I could probably optimize it even more if I switched out gdm for a script or something. And this is all running the latest kernel and updates from Lenny repos.
I also have Debian running on a 200Mhz PC with Fluxbox, and even less RAM than the laptop, and it works without any errors (although some programs load a bit slow).
