I really wanted to like it, but there are enough hardware issues (notably onboard Realtek Audio and NVIDIA configuration anomalies) that I decided to scrap it as a production release and continue to use 8.04 as my main workstation OS.
It also has a lot more problems playing movie DVDs than the previous releases.
Frustrating. I guess I'll just have to let it ripen a bit and get a few more updates before I try it again.
The Kubuntu version also has some problems. Jockey and the KDE mixer app routinely crash without warning. Once crashed they won't restart although a reboot clears the problem until the next unexpected crash.
