Automatically mount encrypted filesystems at login with pam_mount

Hi,
As it is mentioned, pam_mount use to password to unlock the encrypted volume. How password changing is handled by this "feature" ? Since password changing is performed by PAM, can pam_mount automatically "recrypt" with the new password ?

I don't know how LUKS manage the encryption key.
Anybody has information about that ?
