Hello,
I'm entirely new to encrypted filesystems. I first came to this article because I saw the benefit it could give at work: each user can have their network shares mounted on login, most notably Novell/Samba shares that depend on a specific login/password.
Then, the article eventually drew my attention on the topic of encrypted filesystems because it all seams so seamless this way!
On the other hand, I wonder: it is a good practice to change your account's password regularly, but if you set the encryption passphrase to your account's password, then upon change, it won't be as seamless… or will it?
