What to Expect From Linux as a New User

Hello,

I'm very, very new with Linux and at the very first sight I was so amazed.
Not just one half of my life that I've spent using Windows, but whole half of my entire life :-))

It definitely needs adjustment, but I think that's the easiest part.
It involves " lot" of studying almost all over again, from step 1.
But it's so, so, easy at the end, when you follow few pointers and learn few points, it gets out easier than anything. :)
We the people, just like to complicate too much, and then mess things up more then they are themselves :))

I've started with Ubuntu, got myself few video Tutorials to sort of speed up the learnings, pick up tips. :) and few books of course.

What most amazed me is so many apps and packages that I actually don't have to google so much anymore - people around me find this fact just so hard to believe, but it's pure truth!

First impressions: state of the art OS! And I feel bad that I haven't started with it long ago!

Kind regards from happy newbie and bye-bye Win user :)
