Managing your MP3s with Zina

Nice article on Zina.

Use to use it, but i am now using jinzora as a multimedia groupware. I am also testing out drupal for multimedia.

Got excited about the zina module for drupal but it seems to be a dev snapshot for drupal 6, and i am using drupsl 5, so bummer.

The main issue i am having is finding an embedded ogg audio player for any of these FOSS MultiMedia or CMS systems.
On the Linux desktop there is no issue with receiving ogg streams from m3u play lists, but for windows you have to install vlc or win amp.
This adds a little inconvenience for regular windows users, which is avoidable by embedded players, but most support only mp3s.

It's a little mind boggling that embedded players to support open formats are so hard to come by in open management systems.
I am not clear as to what the real issue is, but this leads to converting to both formats or just mp3s if you are publicly sharing your music.

Any ideas or help appreciated. TIA
