Alex Weir again - I should add that mobile phone signal and GPRS/GSM is available in many many areas in the 3rd world where there is no mains electricity - this may be amazing to many of us from the West. This vindicates the work Scott is doing and the products he is designing and producing. Additionally, do not underestimate the power of the internet-enabled mobile phone - there is a very very bright future for that throughout the third world, especially once the killer applications are conceptualised and delivered (check www.cd3wd.com/Twec/ ).
