I absolutely love <a href='http://www.group-office.com/'>Group Office</a> web <a href='http://www.group-office.com/groupoffice/modules/cms/templates/group-office.com/movies/calendar.flv'>calendar</a> module.
It is based on the <a href='http://extjs.com/'>ExtJS</a> javascript framework and offer the same usability as google calendar!
Just one note: I'm not sure it is as "accessible" as the solutions you suggested!
Anyway: grate product! Absolutely the best opensource solution available
