The way Ubuntu folks talk about upstream is annoying.
There's this producer:consumer relationship there.
It's great that Ubuntu users create bug reports but it would be better if Canonical actually fixed bugs.
This moves from irksome to annoying because Ubuntu folks talk about GNU/Linux as if they wrote it - when in fact Canonical/Ubuntu develop less code for Linux than Oracle or even Sun, let alone smaller distros like Mandriva
