US antitrust officials praise Microsoft for protocol licensing

In sharp contrast with the never-ending criticisms and increasingly baseless investigations it faces in the European Union (EU), Microsoft is finding a surprising level of support from antitrust officials in the US. As part of a regularly scheduled status report on the software giant's 2002 US antitrust settlement, US federal and state antitrust officials recently praised Microsoft for its efforts to lower the cost of royalties associated with licensing its technologies to third parties.

Paul Thurrot is just another pro-American anti-everyone else idiot. What he fails to realise is that Microsoft would not have released any documentation at all if it wasn't for the EU pushing them. Neelie Kroes deserves a lot of praise for pushing Microsoft. The US DoJ did nothing. They still haven't got Microsoft to comply to one thing in what, 5-7 years!!!!

Oh come on. This is the Bush regime handing out praises here, a Christofascist terrorist regime that has murdered over one million innocent Iraqi civilians, committed massive treason against America, and wiretapes every American's telephone and emails... And the Christofascist terrorist regime comes up with a smile for Microsoft and we're all supposed to be happy about it? No. Rule of thumb: If a terrorist traitor regime says they're happying about anything, you just know that the american citizen is going to get fucked once again.
