Dell was the first of the major computer manufacturers to support preinstalled Linux, but it's not just preinstalling Linux. The Austin, Texas, company is also adding functionality to Ubuntu Linux on its desktops and laptops.

Dell could easily offer Ubuntu on practically any machine they are selling - probably they will have to do some minor adjustments as regards wifi/HSDPA, but that's all.
When they do their "Linuxfriendlyness" MIGHT become relevant. First come first serve...
