While I love the idea of free nationwide internet as much as anyone else one needs to consider the fact that it would lead to the demise of several telecommunications companies (yeah Comcast should die) but how many jobs would this lead to the end of if it passed? And how would the FCC pay for this? Tax dollars?! Good luck getting the funding without driving our economy further into a downward spiral.

For now the internet remains a paid priviledge, not a right.

I think Obama's plan for easier Internet access will benefit all types of industries and age groups.
