Is M$ Office Adware? Hmm let's see it links you to commercial add ons, it includes promotions, requires you to have tracking cookies, and collects technical information. Yeah it's adware. Security threats and annoying adware is the main reason I'm trying to ditch Windows and the only thing keeping me from doing it is the inability to get my games to run correctly on Ubuntu 7.10, but I'm pretty sure there's a good emulator out there somewhere that will enable me to do this.

If you ever get a document from someone and especially if its in regards to something like a contract or litigation, you can read the text they might of written down before finalizing the document, its still there hidden if you use Word to view but if you use AntiWord you can see the whole thing! Very nice program to have, well on Unix.
