Playing mp3 on PS3 using Mediatomb
I'm using Mediatomb as mediaserver to play music and videos on my PS3.
However, i'm not able to play mp3 files, i get the message "incompatible data" on the tv. I'm able to play most videos, but not all.
The software i use are Ubuntu 7.10 and Mediatomb 0.10.0. I have also made sure that both w32codecs og libdvdcss2 codecs are installed, as are the "restricted extras" (as someone tiped me to check).
What can the problem be?

Re: Playing mp3 on PS3 suing Mediatomb
Thanx for the tip, i tried but it still doesn't work.
I've also made sure i have the w32codecs. Could there be any other codecs or something that i don't know about?
The wma is also activated (on my ps3), as a guy suggested.

I don't believe it's a codecs issue. From all I've read, once you get your mappings right, that is, once you've mapped MP3 to audio/mpeg, you should be able to play MP3s. I'll keep looking and see if I can find something else.
