Re: LINUX NEEDED HELP?
Welcome to the community. :-)
Linux can be easy or hard to learn, depending on what you start out trying to do. If you start out trying Gentoo for example, you would probably run away screaming. =P A good place to learn is here, at http://www.linux.com/whatislinux/119700 that link. A good distribution to start with is either Knoppix or PCLOS, available at http://www.knoppix.com/ or http://www.pclinuxos.com/ (I recommend the latter). If you like it, and want to install it, Ubuntu is a good distro to go with. You can get it at www.ubuntu.com.

LINUX NEEDED HELP?
A good place for help advice etc. is your local LUG (Linux User Group) http://www.linux.org/groups/ <- lists various LUGs around the world. LUGs are usually friendly, most have monthly meets (the local one here is a pub meet every second sunday of the month), and normally have people of all age ranges and experience.
