Which distro to choose
Hi
New to linux.
I have been used to xp.
I have the following specs:
Gigabute p35 ds3r
Pentium core 2 duo 8200
1 gb ddr3
160 gb
I am looking for a distro that will have rich GUI
Please advice.

You got plenty of horsepower to run KDE4.....

I'd suggest Kubuntu w/KDE4

I would suggest then any distro. that installs KDE or Gnome by default, such as Fedora 9, Kubuntu, Ubuntu, etc.

Hey Guys
Thanks for the reply.
What is your take on suse 10.3?
Also since i am new I need some help with the installation as I have 10 partitions and I want to have both win xp and linux distro (yet to be decided). So do let me know where I could get help on installing to ensure that the xp does not get correputed and still I am able to use the files on my drives.
