im a first time user of linux i have ubuntu loaded on one of my computers, the install went quick and easy. i went to another computer and im get this error squashfs error: unable to read page. has anyone seen that error before? if i don't get the error i get a pink screen and it will sit there.

In the boot load try adding this ide=nodma

ive done that and i still get the error. i think its a mother board problem as its a foxconn.
