Hello Linux users :) I'm new to this OS. I made some courses and now i'm very interested about Linux. I want to use linux for web features like : forums , websites ... hosting in general . I know that i must configure my linux disto for ONLY what I need . Can you please guide me ? What packages should i install ? Step by step, im not a guru yet :) Oh , I want to use X too :) i'll disable it when im not working with it . thanks.

Forums are not really the best place for step by step instruction. Checkout www.howtoforge.com for that.
