mobile phone
I have been searching but do not think a linux or ubuntu phone exists. I am looking for a phone or PDA that I can run a GPS system on. I know of linux software that converts the op system to gps then you just plug in a aerial. I do not actually need internet connection but a file storage system, maybe like open office or pdf's even.
Any thoughts please and thanks.
PS No need for blue tooth, wi fi, camera, bells & whistles etc although speaker phone would be handy. I have actually though about getting a baby laptop with mike and wondered if that can operate as a phone!! I am avoiding phones that run up a bill every time you lock on to a gps signal.

Ha, I use a tracfone cuz a phone is just a parttime tool for me. Maybe one of the other members using one of these can give you a suggestion.
