Subject : Where to find an old version of linux
hi I'm an IT student.I need an old version of any distribution of desktop linux with poor GUI. it's needed for an "HCI presentation" in university to analyze linux GUI and its improvement through its life. I 'll be glad to get any links to download an old version of linux or any video clips related to my topic. You 'll be appreciated in my slides. Thank you!

If you wanted to demo linux at various stages of its gui improvement, you could just run Vector Linux, which includes 5 window managers, from the most basic to the pretty advanced xfce. MWM and TWM are included, giving you the original Unix type environment. Fluxbox window manager is the core of older computers running linux. And JWM is like Windows 98SE for linux. It makes comparing the evolution of GUI's as easy as logging out and logging back in (selecting a different WM). Really cool.
