http://astore.amazon.co.uk/asus-eee-pc-notebook-21/detail/B001GRNS32 Customer review says it works on EEE PC running Linux. Here are some links for Acer Aspire one https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/44556 http://cgi.ebay.com/ACER-Aspire-ONE-USB-external-CD-ROM-CD-RW-burner-drive_W0QQitemZ120320708443QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/ACER-Aspire-One-USB-CD-ROM-DVD-RW-DL-burner-combo-drive_W0QQitemZ400002166963QQcmdZViewItem

You can buy CD/DVD Drives seperately which you just plug into your netbook (small laptop) for just a small price. I have a Dell and they asked £100 to give me one, wheras when I went on Amazon, I can get one for closer to £15/£20 Hope this helped!
