Envelope printing
Hi, I am trying to find an envelope printing app. I found one that I can not down load, the web page fails to load repeatedly:
http://www.linux.org/apps/AppId_2198.html
If any one has this file, I would appreciate getting it, or leading me to the download of it.
BTW, I started Linux, only a month ago, and I love it. Had to go to the M$ dark side for a few years after OS2 was out dated, I should have went to Linux years ago. I sure do not miss the way XP would run so slow and load programs and file searches in such a slow fashion. I have wasted several years of my life waiting on M$.

Re: Envelope printing
I would try emailing the author if you haven't already done so. Otherwise, I would ask: is there a particular reason that OpenOffice won't work for you? If it is at all possible to use that, I would recommend it. If you cannot, there are a few ways to generate a Postscript document that you could print.

Re: Envelope printing
Would open office be able to store all the addresses, with out retyping? Does it print post net codes?
I will try writing the author. Good idea.

Re: Envelope printing
I found thes articles about OpenOffic which seem quite helpful:

Between using a template and the "Database" functionality, it could do what you want.

Yes, it is a matter of using a special font. This is supposed to be the special font:

However, you still have to calculate the Postnet code.
