PClinuxOS_2007 Please help
I have installed PClinuxOS_2007 onto a blank harddrive in my laptop and it now comes up with a error message: NTLDR is missing Press ctrl - alt - del to restart. Can anyone help me past this. The program runs great of the CD and everything looks good on the install. I just can't get it to run from the harddrive.

It sounds to me like you didn't modify the master boot record (mbr) with grub or lilo. Try running one or the other.

I would guess the boot loader isn't installed correctly. I believe that's a windows error message not a linux one, and it's trying to boot from a non-bootable drive. Did you let pclinuxos install the bootloader (grub) to the mbr (master boot record)?
This thread talks about it under opensuse:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/susenovell-60/opensuse-11-ntldr-is-missing...-690714/
Open up /etc/grub.conf with a text editor and post the contents here. Also, open up the Konsole program, type:
fdisk -l
and post the output here. Have you tried reinstalling? When you say install onto a blank hd in your laptop, does that imply you have more than one harddrive?

Re: PClinuxOS_2007 Please help
I had two hd on my laptop. The main crashed and I took it out put the back up into the main slot. I had windows vista on the main; but the secondary said that there was no operating system found I assumed that windows didn't even touch that drive.
