If by hacking, you mean penetration and security testing, then there are plenty of linux distros for that purpose. Some of which have been designed from scratch for the sole purpose of penetration testing and mobility. Some of them are - LAS, Knopix, Flak, SELinux, IPCop etc. These distros have been designed for different uses. For example IPCop is used for firewall design and testing. PHLAK stands for Professional Hackers Linux Assualt kit. So you can guess what it is used for!!!
