Finally able to full install my Linux Mint 6 thanks to the help of UNetbootin which i discovered last night. but on installation it asks me to setup partions to create ext3 or whatever it is. How do i go about doing this? i dont really know the command codes well.

Are you trying to dual boot with Windows, or is Mint going to be the only operating system on your computer? If you're not planning to dual boot, here is a guide: http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/install_linuxmint_1.html : It's for Mint 4, but the installation process hasn't really changed.

ok thanx, and yes i want as my only OS. thank you i'll check it out. in case its same as other how-to's ive read, i only have a single 18Gig drive. the 1's i've read are all for 100+ Gig drives
