how do you login as owner
i am tring to learn how to install stuff by source code but run into a wall with this you are not the owner or something like that.

kravos,
To install software system-wide on your computer, you have to use the administrative privileges of root, which you can get with the 'su' command if you have the password.
You can also compile source code yourself and run it from subdirectories in your home directory.

You should write down your root password when you first start out.

yep that will work or you can login as "root" and insert the password of course at the startup login screen.

EDIT: Please note it isnt a great idea to use the root login for any longer than needed just it case you make a mistake.
