where can i find software on trial for web page design?

I have just recieved a EeePC 701 and i would like to learn how to use it properly can you help me i am a student and i am currently learning to use Dream Weaver is there a similar application on this os that i can use to build web pages or can you tell me of a site that i can goto to get trials of this type of application recently i accessed a library on the net where there were living programmes that one could use and they would change after a period can you direct me or advise me which programme to use on office.org. I tried using office.writer/web but there is an untitled page behind the page that i was building and the tools did not provide all the features that i would need to complete the page. I can not afford xp so i would like to try to use what i have without having to spend anymore also i have a Nokia N73 and one of it's features is web n walk can i use this as a modem to access the net? I am not familiar with the means of using thunderbird mail or firefox for that matter as i am on t-mobile who would be my isp one of the questions when i tried to setup an email account with firefox or thunderbird was who is the isp would this be t-mobile or the company i am currently surfing the net from? i live in a hostel and they provide me with free access at the moment and i am not sure if i am allowed to make an email address on their system because i am not sure if this will be blocked when i leave here
