Subject: Need some help!
Ok, Hi all. I have a major question, I want to know how can i change my Main Os,Which is window's XP, To Linux Without using a disk or USB flash drive. And also i do not want to run them both i want to completly Get rid of window's and make Linux my OS. I Am Running a Toshiba Satellite Laptop. Please Keep in mind i want to completly Rid Myself of window's XP.

Just download a Linux distribution, burn the iso to a bootable CD or DVD, pop it into the drive, reboot, and follow the instructions. When asked for information on how you would like your hard drive partitioned be sure to format all the partitions, regardless of the scheme that you select. And here are some good distros. to try. They all have good installation procedures for those new to Linux http://ubuntulinux.org http://www.kubuntu.org/ http://www.xubuntu.org/ http://fedoraproject.org/ http://www.mandriva.com/

well I have Ubuntu distro on My HD But i want to know how to change the partiton's so that i can have Ubuntu using more.
