Subject: wireless card not recognized
i am having a common problem with linux, i cannot get my wireless card to work. i am using Kubuntu 8.04 64-bit Hardy (KDE 3.5). i have tried all the usual stuff that i have before (bcm43xx-fwcutter and ndiswrapper). ndiswrapper said that my driver was installed, and nothing happened. i believe that it is seeing my WLAN card as a USB device and i have no idea what to do about it, here is the code: [code=xml]garth@TheMachine:~$ lsusb Bus 007 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 006 Device 002: ID 05a9:2640 OmniVision Technologies, Inc. Go to menu item System Settings -> Network Settings. Is your device listed there as eth1 (most likely)?
