Subject: Any CentOS Users Here?
I don't actually have this distribution up and running on any machines but it seemed like a good, heavy-duty OS that could be deployed flexibly. I would specifically like to know what hardware any users here have this distribution running on and what its reputation is...

CentOS works on varied hardware with not much of issues or hassles.
I've installed CentOS 4 on Celeron 633 with 810 M/B, 256 MB RAM and IDE disks as well as Toshiba Laptop M-70.
Other hardware configurations include IBM x3650, Desktops with 2GHz processor. Sorry I don't recollect the exact configurations of all the hardwares on which I've installed.
The issue faced sometimes has been GUI interface resolution which just needs a bit of tweaking. Not used Wireless LAN interface so not too sure about it. But the installations has normally been problem-free and the OS stable

The distribution does not sound like it makes big demands on hardware. I downloaded the x386 version of CentOS 4.6 (4 ISOs). I would imagine an 800 to 900 MHz machine with 256 MB RAM should cut it, wouldn't you think???
