fowlerellie Joined: May 01, 2008 Posts: 7 Other Topics	Posted May 19, 2008 at 9:00:44 PM Subject: setting up evolution to work with aol hi,i am new to ubuntu and am struggling to get aol to work in evolution,have been able to get send mail to work using smtp.aol.com:465 ssl encript,but recieve mail is scanning for mail but cannot find any although there is mail there,for this i am using imap.aol.com:993 ssl encript,i have used many variations to no success. has any one any recommendations or comments?

Make sure you're using SSL encryption. fowlerellie Joined May 01, 2008 Posts: 7 Other Topics	Posted: Jun 05, 2008 11:37:56 AM Subject: setting up evolution to work with aol hi shashank,ssl is turned on,port settings seem ok,aol says use imap to retreive mail,system is searching for mail on current settings,whilst experimenting with other settings this did not occur,can you think of any other setting that would hide or affect incoming mail? many thanks
